This evening, I had the pleasure of visiting Founder Magna of the Legion. She is allied with the Forgotten Unity. I journeyed to Venik Ragnew which is in the South Eastern part of Qalia, East of Afrit. There is a giant mountain that hovers over her housing area that comes down from Abella Cove, making the area seem very secluded.

When I arrived, Magna was awaiting my visit. We had scheduled our meeting at 4 p.m. and I admit, I was a bit early. The thing that really caught my attention as my griffon and I landed at Magna’s house was the lovely tree that gave character to her home.

As we entered, I noticed that the table was set and I could smell that food was being cooked. It smelled great. Magna told me she was expecting a few guest in a few hours. I’m sure they will enjoy her cooking. She tells me that she loves to cook. I express that I enjoy cooking as well, but I’m no chef.

To the left of me there was a basket of flowers and a few gardening items. She had said she just picked some flowers out of her garden. In my head, I was thinking, “she can cook, garden, decorate her house, and what else?” She definitely seems to be a home maker and a great one at that. She even told me she built the vases and a few other items that are in her house. She’s also working on her guild hall. I guess they are still trying to get some resources together, but I wish her luck and I can’t wait to visit their guild hall one day.

Her living room had many chairs. She tells me that she has guests often, and likes for them to be comfortable. Having a variety of chairs, I think she does it quite nicely. One thing, I did notice is that she has two different types of clocks in her house which happen to both be in her living room. I was a bit boggled, but kept it to myself. *grins*

To the left of her living room, we ventured into her kitchen. It was filled with all kinds of things- cook books, all types of breads, cheese, vegies, baskets full of fruit and potatoes, and a variety of meats. It was all very organized. She was cooking a roast, and some fish for her dinner tonight. Good thing I ate before I came over otherwise, I might’ve taken a few peices for myself.

Going up the stairs, her chandelier really caught my eye. It was massive and illuminated the stairway.

The next room, I found was very neat. It was similiar to a loft I had seen in a past home, but it had some new ideas implemented. The staircase up to the loft had a curve to it, and looked so natural with the rest of the home.

As you reached the loft, you were greeted by flowers and a very warm room. It had everything you would need as a guest, even a fire place and basket to keep your dirty laundry in. She did a great job. She said that many of her smaller guests stayed in this room. She has many a friend from what I can tell and she is even friends with Gnomes, which shocked me a little bit.

The next room we visited was her library. She had two large bookshelves with books, and a desk. She also had a closet in the room, but I never opened it to inspect what was in it. I’m assuming more books. She said she loved to read, and that made me very happy to hear. I love to hear that other people enjoy reading. It is one of my favorite hobbies to pass time.

To the right of us, we could see her hot tub that Jhone had made for her. I have visited Jhone’s house before and I was pleased to see some of her work in another Telonian’s house, especially one so far away from Kojan. Supposedly, Jhone and Magna are good friends. Jhone had come over and built her this beautiful hot tub, and Magna added her own flare. It was so inviting; I almost wanted to hop right in, but resisted the temptation.

There was also a fire place near the library. Far enough, of course, to not burn the books. The pillow-like chairs and rug made the room feel so cozy and warm. I wanted to pull out a book and chill out- very therapeutic.

We went on to see her bedroom. The room was lovely. She wanted me to take note of her reading lamp, which was clamped onto the headboard of her bed. It had this shiny tint to it, and looked like it was made out of shells.

We then moved back down stairs. We sat down and talked in her living room. The fire was so warm, and I really did have a great time. Magna had to finish up her cooking, so we said our farewells. I invited her over to my house for some checkers and a glass of wine. She thanked me for coming, and I was on my way.

I really did have a great time at her house. I felt as though I had just stopped by for therapy or something of that sort. I felt very relaxed. The detail she put into her house gave me some great ideas for my own home, and I hope she inspired you to add a little detail to your house as well! If she comes by for checkers, I’ll have to put up some pictures.
