Well, it is a lovely Monday morning, and good thing because my griffon did not want to travel if it was raining again. It’s been raining a lot on Qalia for some reason. Anyways, we are off to Kojan today to meet up with lady Jhone who is allied with Agony’s End. She lives on the North West island which is called Port Aughos. The journey there was beautiful! I love the trees in this area because they have this beautiful pinkish purple color to them, and smell wonderful.

As we landed, Jhone was awaiting our company. Her house is right on the side of the lake, and the view is absolutely stunning!

She invited me into her “humble home” as she called it, and it was quite a humble home indeed. She lives with her fiancee, Shaohao, and her children. When we first walked in, I was welcomed by a hot tub. The first thing I noticed was the heart decorations that were spread about, and Jhone said her fiancee wanted to apologize. I guess he had decorated the house for her for Valentine’s Day, and she decided to keep them up. I thought it was a very cute story and I was awed… a little jealous too. *Grins* She makes these hot tubs with her own crafting skills! She is a Leatherworker of 45 seasons. She tells me she learned her skill from her mother who is an Armorsmith of the 50th season.

As we turned to the right, we came upon a room that was very spacious and homie. The fish tank caught my eye and I was quite fascinated. I even took a seat and watched as the fish swam by. Supposedly, the fish were caught in the bay. Her and her fiancee were fixing to make them for dinner, but the kids had objected. They ended up building a fish tank for them!

To the left of the fireplace, you’ll find a little decoration of Jhone’s own. She has been working on this little project which she called an “anvil planter”. I thought it was very crafty, and something I would not have thought of.

I continued to follow her and listen to her as she told me story upon story. She said, “After a long day of hard adventuring, we come home to drink a bottle of port and relax in the hot tub,” as she showed me her dinning room.

Then, we walked up the stairs and I got to see her kid’s room and play area. The tiny chairs reminded me of my home back on Qalia. I live with a halfling, so I’m used to seeing those around, and forget that little children use them as well. She tells me that she’s still looking for a dresser for them. Perhaps, she’ll find one soon.

Her and her fiancee’s room was quite large, something I’m not used to. My master bedroom is quite small in comparison. She tells me that her furniture was imported from Leth Nurae, where her mother lives. I was thinking that the expenses for shipping were costly, but she said that her mother helped her with that end of the deal.

Jhone’s house was quite lovely! I really enjoyed my stay, and most likely stayed far too long. She told me so many stories, and I really felt that the stories behind her house made her house really come alive to me. Sometimes, it is the little memoreis that you share in your home that really make your home what it is. Jhone welcomed me back to her house, and even offered to make me a hot tub! I was so excited, and I can’t wait! I offered to pay her for the crafting work, but she said she just really likes to make things for the fun of it.
We also talked about how neat it would be to have player cities where she could even build her own hot tub store, or I could build my very own fishing shop. Ah, we can dream right?
