My first journey takes me to the Southern regions of Qalia where the sand is plentiful. I followed the beautiful river down to the island known as Shimmering Sands, or Dornal Coast. There, I met up with Alizzee. She was kind enough to show me around Mihngo’s [his main character] house.

I was very excited because she had previously told me that there was a very unique aspect to his house. As she opened the door, my eyes wandered to all the corners of the room. Welcoming me was an entertainment room, or so it seemed to me. Two fireplaces rested in the back of the room offering a warmth and light that made the room feel very homie. There were many areas to plop down and take a rest.

When I looked to the left of me, I laughed a little bit. There was what I like to call a stripper pole in the crevice of the room. There was even a table and chairs to sit down at while enjoying the view. Smiling, I told Alizzee I could definitely tell this was a mans house. She laughed a little bit, but was happy to move onto the next room.

This area was very inviting, and reminded me of my bar back home. I felt like a little child, “oO’ing” and “ahhing” at all the neat items within his house. There was a great slab of meat sitting at the counter and I might’ve drooled a little on the rug, not to mention the giant kegs to the right of me.

I found that walking up the stairs of Mingho’s house was my most favorite thing to do, and it gave me some neat ideas for my own house. He made an extra hidden room up top to store his chests. I’m sure he’s quite an adventurer, since he had Alizzee showing me his house. I bet he was out slaying a dragon of one sort or another! Oh, how I do love adventuring.

I hope he doesn’t come after me for showing everyone where his secret treasures are locked away, but this was a great way to make a loft.

As we came to the next room of Mingho’s house, I could tell that he woud have visitors from time to time. I’m sure the ale wasn’t the reason they didn’t go home.

He even had a dresser for his visitors which I thought was a kind jester.

The master bedroom was separated from the other room. It wasn’t anythng fancy, but it was inviting and comfortable. It seems he’s reading quite a novel and has left the page open, so he wouldn’t forget which page he was on. Adventuring can make you forget the finer things in life, like taking the time to read a book and enjoy the warmth of a fireplace.

I thanked Alizzee for taking the time she spent showing me this wonderful Qalian house. She said it was her pleasure, and walked me to the door.

This was my first house I explored on Telon. It was truly a journey worth while. I can’t wait to see the hundreds of other houses that Telon has to offer!
